"Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?"

Be not far from me, for trouble is near; For there is none to help. Many bulls have surrounded me; Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me. They open wide their mouth at me, As a ravening and a roaring lion. I am poured out like water, And all my bones are out of joint; My heart is like wax; It is melted within me. My strength is dried up like a potsherd, And my tongue cleaves to my jaws; And Thou dost lay me in the dust of death. For dogs have surrounded me; A band of evildoers has encompassed me; They pierced my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones. They look, they stare at me; They divide my garments among them, And for my clothing they cast lots.

"I and the Father are one"

'I am the Son of God'"

"I am not alone, for the Father is with me"

"My God, My God, Why Have You Forsaken Me?"

“Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.”

"After three days I will rise."

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me"

I FEEL LIKE JESUS THESE DAYS- the aches and pain one go through while dying and not dying :P

11-18 in Psalm 22:M atthew 27:45-46

To understand the historical Jesus you have to understand the historical context, and belief context he arose from, which had a lot of dominance during his time in particular. The origins of this tradition go back at least a couple hundred years before Jesus himself. But tradition is the tradition of Eschaeton, which means End Times, that somehow God will intervene in history directly, and liberate the Jews, restore them in their rightful place as God's chosen people.
what was happening was that Ancient Judea was constantly being occupied by invaders for atleast a couple hundred years even before Jesus invaders were occupying Judea: First the Assyrians, Babylonians Greeks, and then the Romans
And when it was Jesus' time this worldview was at its peak Jesus can be best understood as an Apocalyptic prophet. He believed without a doubt that in his own lifetime, God would intervene, overthrow the Romans, and usher his kingdom to earth, the end times were not some distant event, but it was going to happen at any moment.

so when the time came that he was being crucified, Jesus believed without a doubt that God would rescue him and all the Jews he expect the heavens would open up, and everything would come pouring down. But that didn’t happen, so he made that statement why have you forsaken me. Even after Jesus, Saint Paul when he was preaching, believed that the end of times was going to happen in their own generation. that some city or something would drop out of the sky
All the stuff had to be internalized, because the event did not happen as planned
They had to make sense out of it. The concept of a resurrecting jesus
wasnt known to the first Christians meaning a literal resurrection all those gospels were written much later than purported mark the oldest maybe little past 70, john around 90 AD, earliest source was Paul's letters, and that was even at least 40-50 AD, at least a decade after Jesus the original church that jesus started disappeared in 70
he had a peaceful message, but not entirely though either, in some places you will see he tells his followers to take up arms. this concept of him arising from the dead, and living as a ethereal messianic being was for reconciliation because the jewish concept of the messiah, is a warrior king priest who would lead the faithful, and overthrow the oppressors and return back to the kingdom as it was in King David's time and that once again the Temple of God would be pure, and all would be well
but that didnt happen in 70 AD the Romans entered Judea, destroyed Jerusalem
including the temple banned any Jew from entering Jerusalem and renamed the city after Jupiter. Jesus' earliest disciples were destroyed in that event his original church
whatever was left of the Jesus movement was due to Paul outside of Judea
the gentile church, non jewish church and Christianity was pretty much outlawed under Roman Law until 313 AD.it wasnt under Emperor Constantine that it was made legal and i think under Emperor Justinian it was made official religion of the Empire
the bible itself was not put together until Constantines time during the council of Nicea. so all those gentile churches outside of Judea eventually formed the catholic church but there were other churches too. they were banned as heretic and gospels which existed that never made it into the bible there were christianities that also existed that the mainstream church didn’t accept as true and of course whoever has the power has the say. the mainstream church had power cuz they had the emperor on their side other competing ideologies about Jesus, and other texts about Jesus didn’t
So they died out, were converted their books were either burned or the followers hid them we have some of the books a lot of them actually.
but not all some we only know exist through the writings of the early church fathers who condemned the other books and ideas. and the book of revelation, last book in the bible has very little to do with some future event a lot of it is just code and metaphor for what was going on during the 1-2 centures AD like the antichrist, and his number 666 but the number has a meaning, there was a jewish system of placing certain numerical values for letterscalled Gematria and when u do it with 666
what is spelled is NRO CSR Nero Ceaser
the guy who persecuted Christians like anything he used to tie them to posts in his garden and light them on fire for light ironically that garden is where Vatican City stands today. Lots of the gospel writings, and revelation also were trying to directly attack Imperial Roman Theology.he hated them because they did not accept him as a God same with Jews.Roman Imperial Theology dictated that the Emperor was God incarnate he was a God, thats what christians refer to the number 666 to
that he is the one who is the counter Christ against all what christ stands for his connection with Satan came later he was a Roman Emperor the concept of the devil was a later thing too, Satan as a devil figure doesnt appear until after the babylonian captivity, the Jews were conquered by the Babylonians about 500 years before Jesus and most were all deported to Babylon and then what happened was eventually the Persians conquered the Babylonians now the Persian religion was Zoroastrianism
Zoroastrianism dictates a dualistic worldview, That there is a God, and there is a Devil, there is a Heaven, and there is a Hell Cyrus the Great, the Persian Emperor permitted the Jews to return to Judea from Babylon and rebuild their temple, and live there again but the jews had stayed a good time under Persian influence, and they brought back the dualistic worldview back with him and they incorporated that into their theology later and it really took takes form with later christians

Suffering and War and spiritual understanding of the body pain and compassion- An evolving consciousness by Bindau ji

The forces that shape and cause the evolution of the planetary consciousness have aleays been afoot in the world... the winds of war and the tides of war have always been since the beginnning... but these days we have access to almost instantaneous news of conflict all over the planet .... these forces though have always been ... however now we know of the them whereas before we might not have heard of them so soon....
but these force people to grow in terms of group consciousness where previously they were stagnana tand\or stuck and selfish... the tides and such are like a weathewr template that moves accross the face of the globe sometimes here sometimes there a storm here a storm there.ALL IN HIS COSNSCIUOUSNESS. this makes the planetary consciousness (or the consciousness in HIS MIND) which is depicted in his psychic spoace we call the cosmos)out of this discord comes the evolvement of being and eventual realization or recogn=ition of his compassion for himself... there is nothing wrong he is simply evoloving the consciousness thru and in all beings by degrees over time. hence Kishna is existing as the cosmoc being which terrified arjun. this is the cause of the inception of the conscious awareness in the matter .. or as sri nissagaddata put it... "in the meat body" he IS being himself AS the cosmic being full of ALL .. .i say AGAIN FUL OF ALL. even full of discord and degreess of love and harmony ... there is NOTHING BUT HIM. so then dear friends also out of this compassion and love arises IN HIM FOR HIS OWN PAIN. great social change in a stubborn people will only come about thru uheaval.so whether or not we can understand iit with our limited human mind or not..... HE IS STILL IT <<< < this is incontravertible. the idea or word or label "CRUEL" is OUR term when we are indignannt about the process he uses to make us evolve out of our ignorance.wars make us look at that and copmpassion is the eventual rresult which comes out of the so-called cruelty. the key is to understand that wars haver always been going on and people have always been hurt and complained and there have always been activists ... the template of evolutionary forceds moves accross the face oif the globe causing evolution of love and compassion. without the forces there will be no evolution.men would still be unable to find him ( The Father, god, Krishna)the realization would not enter the meat body.
